A closer look at this sign reveals important information to the would be traveler. What would you make of it if you, hapless backpacker, came upon it en route to Simpson Meadow? Via The Bitch? Whatever could it mean? I had to add my time to the sign (upper left) because someone else had set the precedent by recording their (relatively good) time, from Meadow to plateau, of 3 hrs 45 min. I guess I'm just a hiking machine.
