Well, if you have to do dishes, this isn't such a bad place to be. But, let me tell you, when your whole body is one big muscle cramp, it's hard to muster the gumption to take care of these little details. Fill the dirty pan, carry it away. Wash out the debris, dump the water in the grass. Go back to the stream, fill the pot with clean water, swish it around, carry it away and dump it in the grass. There's a lot of routine in backpacking, and you have to keep in mind how fragile that environment is.
