That little water hole closest to the bottom of the picture is the one shown in the previous picture. It only took an hour to climb to the top of Mather Pass from the plateau, and wow! What a view. Hard to believe I covered the width of this valley in 6 hours. To the right, in this picture, you can see the switchback trail up to this pass.
