With so much daylight left at 3:30 in the afternoon, I did the only sensible thing: took a walk. In a place that's lousy with eye-popping beauty, you can still be surprised. I don't know what this red fringe grass was, but it made a pretty periphery for a dried-up tarn. Note to self: Try to come back here in late Spring next year.
