The goal I'd set for myself last night was to reach the foot of Pinchot Pass and make camp there, on the assumption that I'd be too tuckered out by the time I reached it to actually go over it. After the initial 2-hour climb this involved not much more than gradual elevation gain across the Bighorn plateau, passing within shouting distance of Mt. Wynne. In this picture you can see a little bit of the trail there in the lower left corner.
