Scale can be decieving. That waterfall drops about 80 or 90 feet though it looks smaller here. This place is a popular destination for day hikers coming up from Road's End, but this is as far as they ever seem to go. It's about 4.5 miles from the trailhead, and probably involves a vertical gain of about 1,000 ft. I set up my camera and ran around to get in the picture, but the white water is so bright, in the background, that I ended up looking more evil than usual.
