I don't know why, but for some reason, crystal clear water flowing over granite boulders into cool, inviting pools is especially fascinating when you first arrive in the wild. Maybe because the sound of flowing water is soothing, or because it's so hot and the water looks so inviting, or maybe it's just so durn bootyful. Whatever it is, it stops you in your tracks over and over again...
